Early Childhood Teacher

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to run our Kindergarten Room and to deliver an approved Kindergarten Program.

We are a small, privately owned Centre situated in Edge Hill, Cairns. We offer a competitive, above award salary package, flexible hours and the opportunity to work with a small team in a friendly environment.

Essential criteria:

• Hold, or be working towards, (as defined by ACECQA) a Bachelor of Education or other ACECQA approved qualification.
• Current Blue Card
• Current CPR and First Aid
• Current Child Protection Training
• Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Queensland Kindergarten program Guidelines.
• The ability to run the Kindy room and supervise experienced assistants.
• Good communicaiton skills with children families and work colleagues.
• Be able to work effectively as part of a small team.
