ABOUT THE ROLE

The position is accountable for overseeing the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfer (CT) that comply with the Vocational Education and Training (VET) Quality Framework in conjunction with Chisholm Academic Administration department.

This role will focus on ensuring that all student applications regarding RPL and CT are duly investigated and resolved. This will also include co-ordinating any communication between the student and teachers relating to the RPL and CT process.

In addition, this role will also record any challenges faced by the students regarding RPL and CT process and providing inputs for process and content improvements in conjunction with discipline teachers.

Your key accountabilities will be to:
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on RPL and CT process to the Product Development team, the subject matter experts and key Chisholm educators.
  • Ensure all assessment documentation is Australian Quality Training Framework(AQTF) and Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) compliant and is also presented in a format compatible with the functionality of the learning management system
  • Manage RPL applications by coordinating with training and assessment team lead, teachers and assessors to support timely and effective RPL assessment of eligible students
  • Manage credit transfer applications in correspondence with the student engagement team including pre requisites and entry requirements
  • Review module content, including User acceptance testing and identify improvements
  • Report on the quality of assessors, assessments and assessment outcomes , and put processes in place to improve where necessary
ABOUT YOU

You will have a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116. Relevant qualifications in education or e-learning design and a Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (VET) TAE50116 or a higher equivalent qualification is desirable.

You will have experience in VET RPL and CT processes and assessments as well as experience in preparing documentation that is compliant with the VET Quality Framework.

Crucial to your success you will be digitally literate and skilled in the technical aspects associated with online and web based teaching and learning. You will also have proven ability to work effectively with a team to achieve quality service outcomes and the ability to conceptualise, develop and implement effective and efficient assessment processes

You will be an exceptional communicator with the ability to consult and negotiate with senior managers, teaching team and internal and external stakeholders
