JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Components Of The Role

  • Provide expert advice into, and coordinate the development of an object and inquiry based learning strategy to guide the History Trust’s digital education program development
  • Provide expert pedagogical and curriculum advice in the design and delivery of digital education programs and resources to support effective teaching and learning for South Australian teachers and students
  • Manage the development of an online subscription based learning platform for History Trust resources.
  • Develop, deliver and evaluate high-quality educational content for a variety of South Australian school audiences using digital technologies, working alongside other History Trust teams.
  • Review, pilot and evaluate existing and new digital learning programs including online teacher PDs, virtual visits, YouTube education playlists and supporting resources in support of the History Trusts strategic objectives.
  • Oversee the development of teacher PD programs and work with History Trust staff to deliver them.
  • Establish and coordinate internal (staff) and external (teacher and student) reference groups to ensure appropriate mechanisms for co-design, development and evaluation of education programs


About You

Creative and collaborative individual with sound knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and innovative digital pedagogies

Special Conditions
Some out of hours work may be required. Occasional weekend work may be required. Engagement in this role is subject a satisfactory Department of Human Services Working With Children Check. Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.

Essential Qualifications

Recognised teaching and/or competency based training qualifications eg Bachelor of Primary or Secondary Education or Master of Teaching

Remuneration
$92,784 - $98,143
