Group Leader

Stuart Park Neighbourhood Child Care Centre (SPCCC) is a community-based education and care service for families with children aged from six months to five years.

We are committed to providing high-quality service and have been an integral part of the Stuart Park community for 35 years. We also have strong ties with other services that can assist families and children. We are committed to developing a caring and compassionate environment. By showing genuine affection and understanding for children, families and staff, we walk alongside your child on their unique and individual journey. We support children to explore the world around them and we nurture their natural curiosity using play-based learning.

We are currently seeking a Group Leader to join our team of experienced child care educators, with the highest importance put on care and early childhood development, we are seeking a Group Leader who is warm, caring and respectful of children’s needs and the environment in which they learn.

Hourly Rate $ 32.65AUD, as per the Children’s Services Modern Award 2010

Location: 36-38 Charles Street Stuart Park NT 0820

Essential Criteria for Educators:

  • Applicants must hold diploma of early childhood.
  • Ochre Card
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willing to be proactive in implementing curriculum
  • Bright, friendly and energetic
  • Dedicated to developing the future of our children
  • Strong understanding of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificates

  • Demonstrate commitment to quality practices that support the best interest of children
