- Located at Sydney Conservatorium of Music
- Full time, continuing position, offering a remuneration package of $127K p.a., including leave loading and a generous employer's contribution to superannuation
The Research Services Manager delivers key operational and administrative management for a wide range of research activities in Sydney Conservatorium of Music, including planning, funding and delivery of research to meet the work area's research objectives. It provides administrative leadership, focused on strengthening the standard of research outputs for Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

- postgraduate qualification (preferably music-related) with subsequent relevant experience, or combination of relevant qualifications and extensive relevant experience
- experience in research methods including literature searches and reviews, data collection and data analysis and interpretation skills
- excellent written communication and presentation skills including preparation of reports, minutes, correspondence and staff communications
- capacity to monitor compliance with a wide range of administrative policies, systems and procedures and to work according to these
- demonstrated experience in the implementation and preparation of budgets
- experience in development and implementation of new research initiatives and organisational structures
- demonstrated experience in managing, developing and leading staff
- previous experience in the higher education/tertiary sector
- experience across traditional and non-traditional research outputs
