Project Pi aims to simplify and standardise how our staff and students interact with RMIT every day. We want to use real-time data a lot smarter so our staff, our research partners, our industry partners and our students have access to quality information anytime. We want to provide a service experience that will enable our students to log-on, enrol, change course details and engage with us in a way that suits them and their lifestyle 24/7.

About The Role

As the Senior Consultant, Cyber Governance & Compliance you will collaborate in the development, implementation and maintenance of Information Security solutions aligned to the Information Security management program. This includes defining key security indicators, processes and standards.

You will have ownership of the Pi applications end to end security controls, you will validate / approve relevant security requests and perform periodic user access reviews and configuration control assessments in accordance with University policies and where applicable external requirements.

These roles will initially report into the project up until go live and then will report into the CISO team.

About You

You will have deep understanding of cloud-based applications, coupled with, significant experience in governance/compliance management controls and legal & regulatory requirements, such as Australian Privacy Regulations, Chinese Security Legislation, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

You will have extensive Cybersecurity know-how and understanding of current threat landscape challenges and contemporary experience of Information Security Industry Standards and Cyber technologies (eg, Identity Management; Threat Intelligence; Threat Management; Cloud Security; End-Point Device Protection; Malware Control Management)

Practical experience in Workday as a functional consultant or configurator would be highly regarded.
