  • Based in UniSA Allied Health & Human Performance at the City East campus
  • Full-time, continuing position
  • Salary range: $100,184 - $118,665 per annum (plus up to 17% superannuation)


About The Role

This role will specialise in Exercise Prescription and Exercise Delivery. You will be responsible for contributing to the teaching, scholarship, research and professional activities of UniSA Allied Health & Human Performance. You will develop, coordinate and deliver high quality courses and work collaboratively and reciprocally with staff in other Academic Units and partner organisations. You will also contribute to research and scholarly activity which results in publications and research funding to enhance the research profile of the Academic Unit.

Core Responsibilities
  • Develop, coordinate and deliver courses on campus, offshore, online, etc
  • Apply research and scholarship to the development of courses and coordinate their timely delivery
  • Provide academic counselling and advice to students
  • Contribute to research and scholarly activity
  • Supervise / co-supervise honours and postgraduate students
  • Create, foster and enhance national and international links with relevant bodies


Essential Skills And Experience
  • PhD qualification and current registration (or eligibility) with the Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA)
  • Demonstrated expertise, knowledge and commitment to Exercise Science, in particular in relation to exercise prescription and delivery
  • Solid communication and teamworking skills
  • Experience with a range of technologies and administration appropriate for a modern university
  • Ability to contribute to, and build upon, the established research and scholarship strengths of the Academic Unit
