  • Fixed Term, full time from 30 April 2021 - 31 May 2022
  • Level A (base + 5), or Level B (base)
  • Plus 17% employer superannuation. Salary packaging options are available.

About the role

The Biomedical Sciences Discipline within the School of Science and Technology has a flourishing research programme in human performance focusing on understanding stress and its interactions on health, behaviour and performance.

This Post-Doctoral position arises from UNE's research partnership with the Australian Institute of Sport. The fellow will explore models of stress measurement, interpretation and their applicability to competitive sport environments.

Skills & Experience

A PhD, or near completion, in physiology, sports science, biochemistry, psychology or similar is pre-requisite. Experience and interest in either physiological sensors or psycho-physiology would be desirable. Ability to work in a team and some evidence of that is also desirable.

Excellent interpersonal, written and oral skills, along with excellent organisational skills are essential.
