The Senior School is seeking to appoint an Art, Design and Technology (ADT) - Technical Assistant to join the ADT Department at Canberra Grammar School

About the Role
ADT Technical Assistants are expected to provide effective support for students and teachers. The assistants work together and share responsibility to develop positive, respectful working relationships between themselves and the teaching staff and the students.
They are to follow guidelines established by the School to protect the safety and wellbeing of all users of the Design Centre, showing knowledge of Work, Health and Safety requirements. They share their knowledge and skills within the education community.

About You
The role-holder is expected to demonstrate:
demonstrated experience with School management database systems (Synergetic would be highly regarded).
experience in the use of a wide range of workshop machinery and tools
experience in the use of computer manufacturing processes
intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel desirable)
intermediate to advanced Adobe Suite
high level written and communication skills
the ability to work collaboratively and as part of a team
ability to coordinate conflicting schedules
