'We are looking for new instructors to join our dynamic team. At Young Engineers, our STEM instructors inspire and motivate young children in a fun environment that is entirely dedicated to education through play.

Who we are

e² Young Engineers provides a suite of enrichment programs run after school, weekends and school holidays for primary school children in the areas of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathmatics). The children will learn theoretical concepts and build motorised LEGO® models to understand real-life topics.

Your role

Your role is to prepare and deliver to a classroom of children on topics relating to physics, engineering and technology. The instructor organises the class, answers student queries on the topic taught and help build LEGO® models. With the nature of the role, you will also be required to rearrange classroom equipment, speak to parents as well as school executives.

Classes are located at Randwick on Thursdays 7:30-9:30am plus the possibility of other shifts. You will be required to have your own car for work.

You will be trained on the lesson plan, how to deal with students and problem solving with LEGO®.

Our classes follow the school term.

The ideal candidate

  • Is extremely dedicated and detailed
  • Have a strong focus and passion in education
  • Has a creative mindset
  • Must love working with children and have a passion for guidance
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Is a responsible and proactive learner
  • Have working with children check or willing to apply for one
  • Have a car to carry equipment (mandatory)
  • Is looking for part time work and able to commit for a minimum of 1 year
