The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and talented individual to join the Faculty of Science as a Research Fellow in the Centre of Excellence in Exciton Science.
At the ARC Centre of Excellence in Exciton Science, we are excited about the possibilities of transforming light into energy and energy into light. We are a collaboration of academia and industry focused on innovative research to improve solar energy technology, lighting and security systems.
Join the exciting project, reporting to Alison Funston in collaboration with University of Melbourne, RMIT, University of NSW and the University of Sydney - to transform research into practice and discover new ways to source and use energy.
The successful candidate will have a doctoral qualification in Chemistry or a related discipline, and experience in the field of well-controlled nanocrystal self-assembly or large-area nanocrystal assembly/self-assembly. Experience in spatially- and/or time-resolved optical microscopy/spectroscopy and energy transfer are also highly desirable.
This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
