James Cook University (JCU) has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Educator to join the Discipline of Physiotherapy and the JCU Physiotherapy Musculoskeletal Clinic, based at the Bebegu Yumba campus in Townsville, North Queensland. The appointment is full-time and fixed term to 31 December 2023, with remuneration at Academic Level B - $94,056 - $110,981 per annum + 17% employer superannuation contributions.
What you can accomplish in the role
You will be responsible for the clinical education and evaluation of undergraduate physiotherapy students within the musculoskeletal clinic, which includes teaching, practical classes, workshops and assessments. Further to this, you will be a key contributor in ensuring the successful operating of the Discipline of Physiotherapy and JCU Physiotherapy Musculoskeletal Clinic.
About the JCU Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Clinic
The JCU Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Clinic provides services to University staff and students as well as the wider community and is committed to providing high quality musculoskeletal physiotherapy services to all its clients. The clinic is a training facility incorporating up to date methods for treating all musculoskeletal conditions. Clinical Educators are qualified Physiotherapists who are present and supervise 3rd and 4th year students during clinical assessments and treatments.
