Position Descriptor:
Ernabella Anangu School is part of a remote Aboriginal Community on the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Lands. The focus of the position will be to work in class, in small groups, 1:1 for a cohort of upper primary students who need additional learning in areas of self-regulation, social skills and literacy intervention. While the majority of work will be with this cohort, there will be a team teaching component with a focus on culturally responsive pedagogy. Applicants are encouraged to demonstrate how they build relationships and work with students with complex trauma. Possibility of extension. Housing is likely to be shared.
