Childcare Trainee

The Cottage Early learning Kenthurst is looking for a childcare trainee to join our team. We are a 45 place family owned and operated Early Learning Centre in the heart of Kenthurst with owner/operators with over 40 plus years childcare experience combined. Our service is growing quickly and to cater to the demand we need a new educator to join our team!

In this role you will be required to:

• Working towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Obtain a Working with Children Check (NSW)
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have a proactive with a can-do attitude
• Have a passion about assisting in the educational development of Children

Your role will be:

• Assisting the Educators in the delivery of educational programs
• Contributing ideas for setting up creative learning environments
• Supervision of children at all times
• Assisting in the day to day set up and supporting the children's daily routines meeting their individual needs
• Building relationships with children and families
• Assist in completing the children's daily records and documentation
• Create a friendly, secure and stimulating interactive learning environment
• Flexible work hours
• Working alongside and being mentored by a team of experienced and passionate educators
