Salary: SPO $90,614 - $101,668 pa + allowances
The Learning and Development Business Partner is responsible for the development and delivery of learning and development initiatives and solutions.
Working in a small team, you will operate in a business partner model across the organisation to understand its strategic plans/priorities and provide advice and support to guide Managers and Employees through the efficient development of new learning assets and tools.
A key part of your role will be consulting with key stakeholders to develop and undertake skills audits and update skills and training matrices. As an innovative and creative professional, you will collaborate with external training providers, subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to design, develop, and implement learning and development solutions - ensuring activities meet individual and operational needs and strategic objectives. You will be a confident training facilitator with some experience evaluating training and learning outcomes.
You will have a good understanding of Aboriginal culture and society and the issues affecting Aboriginal people in the Northern Territory and be able to apply this to your work. You will also need a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or equivalent relevant experience in a similar role with capability and willingness to obtain. Experience working with urban and remotely located staff will be essential.
You will also need to be skilled multi-tasker, managing projects and stakeholder engagement to achieve operational capability outcomes. Strong verbal and written communication are essential and experience using eLearning authoring platforms and Learning Management Systems will make you a front-runner.
The position is only open to Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander applicants who meet all the essential selection criteria and are suitable at the level of the position.
