We're looking for a professional Early Years Support Facilitator with relevant experience who wants to join our 2,000+ team of staff and volunteers to make a difference on a Maximum Term Part-Time basis, working 7.6 hours per week based in Fitzroy.

THE ROLE
The Early Years Support Facilitator is responsible for providing support and assistance in the delivery of early childhood programs, supported playgroups, Child minding and other occasional childcare sessions.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the Brotherhood's quality framework and culture by participating in and promoting quality actions through continual improvement activities
- Provide support and work under the direction of the Early Years Coordinator
- Ensure families feel welcome and included in the early childhood setting through being respectful, inclusive and mindful of diverse cultural and family structures
- Assist in the organisation and implementation of a safe, stimulating, positive and enjoyable learning environment for children and families

To be considered for the role and be successful in it, we're looking for an who has the following key skills and experiences:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood - minimum Certificate III Children's Services (or working towards a qualification).
- Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood development, learning and parenting
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective, trusting relationships and liaise across all levels both internally, externally and with children and families from diverse backgrounds
- Familiarity with the needs of vulnerable families and children
- Customer service focused
