About The Role

As Technical Director of Coaching - Netball, you will oversee the School’s netball program for the Red Hill Campus. In this role, you will need to be qualified and accredited in technical development and player development. You will be required to attend practice sessions each weekday afternoon during school Terms and at matches on weekends. In this role, you will have a leadership and strategic focus.

In providing your contracted services you are permitted, and encouraged, to engage sub-contract coaches to support your core duties, as well as additional approved services. Such arrangements will be managed and remunerated by you, and you will retain overall responsibility for these duties.

  • Oversee all technical aspects of the CGS School netball programme - training, match, and management in line with the Pathway Programme and the external governing body
  • Support coaches and managers with their planning, curriculum, training, games, and ongoing coach education
  • Support coaches through the use of specialist coaching sessions and programmes
  • Provide a report on the current status of delivery and recommendations for improvement in future seasons
  • Advise and assist the Head of Sport with the planning and delivery of domestic and international tours across age
  • Regularly meet with the Head of Sport to discuss and report on role
  • Periodically meet with the Directors of Action and Service and Active Education to discuss and report on role
  • Appoint coaches and oversee the running of the netball program
