We have multiple opportunities for experienced Centre Directors to join their new centres across the Inner City, Bayside and Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
Reporting to highly experienced and supportive Area Managers, you will bring strong leadership experience working within the childcare industry. You will be supported by a dedicated team along with your own 2IC.
Your will develop and implement programs and partnerships to enhance and support development of Early Years Learning Plans. You will also manage the effectiveness of the centre with regards to the health and well-being of the children and staff, which also includes enhancing the children’s educational opportunities through strengthening their social, emotional, intellectual and physical development.
Key Responsibilities
- Fostering positive relationships with families, children and team members.
- Lead and motivate a team of Educators including an Assistant Centre Manager and Educational Leader to create a positive learning culture.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Centre, meeting compliance and financial targets.
- Create long-lasting connections with the community including partnerships with families and service providers.
- Mentor and support the centre to Meet/Exceed the National Quality Standards.
Skills and Experience
- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
- Experience in a management or leadership role
- Experienced in achieving targets and meeting safety and compliance standard
- A current Working with Children’s Check
- Current first aid certificate
