About the role

Be responsible for the provision of essential project coordination support, working with the Project Director and other project team members to enable the success of a large multi-stakeholder project funded by the Departments of Jobs, Precincts and Regions (DJPR), and Education and Training (DET).

The project is delivered in partnership between the RMIT College of Vocational Education and the Future Social Services Institute (FSSI) and a range of industry partners and is designed to establish and support a new workplace model of delivery of workforce growth and upskilling for the community services sector.

About you

An analytical thinker with excellent planning and problem-solving skills, the successful Project Officer will be able to multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced, collaborative work environment. You will be a team player with a high level of self-motivation and ability to set and meet goals. In addition, you will demonstrate experience in project, budget and financial management. Experience managing vocational education and training development projects, and knowledge or experience in the Community Services sector will be highly desirable.

Qualifications

A Degree relevant to the accountabilities of this position and / or equivalent level of professional expertise gained through experience.
