St. Margaret Mary's is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Prep classroom teacher to join our passionate and dynamic learning community. We are looking for a highly motivated teacher who is enthusiastic and committed to play based learning and contributing to the School and team in a positive way.

• accredited to teach in a Catholic School and to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School experience in the Walker Learning Approach and play based learning

• strong interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to continue to build strong relationships with students, staff, parents and our Parish community
• exemplary classroom management and teaching skills

• a strong understanding of contemporary learning and the Victorian Curriculum
• relevant qualifications
• an understanding of AITSL standards and expectations of Professional Teacher

The successful applicant needs to:

• be committed to child safety, to maintain best practices to ensure this and to ongoing evaluation of these practice
• have read and be committed to maintaining the standards as set out in our Child Safety Code of Conduct (found on our website)
• hold current VIT registration.

Please note: Salary will be contingent on experience 

Salary Range: $72,058.00 – $108,003.00 per year
