This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 2, 2021

Tuart Rise Primary School (PS) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher - Primary to join their friendly team.

The successful applicant will have the ability to effectively plan for primary level classroom, and a desire to contribute to whole school collaborative planning. The successful applicant will ideally possess a highly effective, evidence based pedagogical approach that prioritises explicit teaching while providing a balance with planned, purposeful inquiry and play-based learning opportunities.

The successful applicant will ideally be highly motivated, energetic and possess excellent interpersonal skills and the qualities to promote excellence and build effective teams maintaining positive relationships across the school community where students thrive. You will be able to work as part of a collaborative team to achieve school priorities and form mutually respectful partnerships with the school community.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.

To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate your competency against the following domains (that govern the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers):

  • Professional knowledge;
  • Professional practice; and
  • Professional engagement.

  • Complete the Department's induction program within three months of commencement; and
