You will be joining a leading First Aid Training Provider (RTO) delivering nationally recognised first aid and pre-hospital emergency care training courses across various locations within WA.
About You:
You will describe yourself as a great communicator who possesses strong knowledge of First Aid. You are well presented and seeking a contract position utilising your own ABN. You consider yourself technically competent, are very organised and have excellent time management skills.
Your peers will describe you as a professional with a strong understanding of compliance and ARC Guidelines and other First Aid industry bodies.
The Role:
This role is well suited to TAE Certified First Aid Trainers and Assessors with nurse/medic/paramedic background or qualifications to train and assess endorsed course material according to ARC and other Industry body regulations within a class-based setting.
Your main duties will include:
- Delivering training utilising only the RTO endorsed course material
- Adhere to all compliance requirements as per Australian Resuscitation Council, RTO policies and procedures, SRTO (2015) and AQTF requirements &
- Conduct training & assessments to people with varied learning needs.
- TAE40116 Cert IV Training and Assessment
- TAE40110 Cert IV Training and Assessment (with LLN/TAEASS)
- Medical experience ideally Medic / Nurse / Paramedic background
- Your own ABN and flexibility
- The ability to deliver courses across various locations within WA
- Highly developed oral communication and presentation skills
- The ability to conduct training and to assess people with varied learning needs &
- Demonstrated ability in conducting flexible assessment and delivering vocational training.
