YMCA WA has 31 OSHC centres across the Perth Metro area which provide Before School, After School and Vacation Care for children from Kindergarten to Year 6.

About the Role

YMCA WA is recruiting for a permanent part time (Minimum 25 hours per week) OSHC Coordinator for OSHC service located in Mosman Park. This service provides After School Care.


  • Lead, supervise and develop your team of educators
  • Ensure the Service meets the National Quality Standards
  • Responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating fun and engaging programs based upon YMCA’s Approach to Learning
  • Provide a high quality service to children, parents and the local community
  • Foster strong relationships with the school community and families
  • Maintain accurate administration and financial management of the Service including reporting, staff rostering, and enrolment systems.
  • Marketing, customer services and service development including the promotion of service programs and activities
  • Ensure staff adherence to YMCA WA policies and procedures
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures in relation to the Safeguarding of children and young people.

Skills and Experience

  • An ACECQA approved qualification for the 4-12 year age group such as Certificate IV in Outside School Hours Care, Diploma in Children’s Services (0-14), Bachelor of Education or equivalent. (Overseas qualification must be assessed by ACECQA)
  • Supervisor Approval Certificate
  • HLTAID004 first aid certificate, Working with Children Check Card and National Police Clearance
