The University has developed an ECU Mental Health Strategy to set out a university-wide approach to promote and support student and staff mental health and wellbeing. With this in mind, we are looking for someone who is experienced, passionate and energetic to provide planning, strategic research, analysis and high-level administrative support in the implementation and refinement of this strategy.

The Program Coordinator - ECU Student and Staff Mental Health Strategy, will be responsible for facilitating the implementation of the ECU Student and Staff Mental Health Strategy and overseeing the commitments ECU is to make in relation to this strategy to ensure objectives are achieved.

Key Criteria:
Working knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice and national/international guidelines

Strong organisational awareness with regards to stakeholder management and subject matter experts

An understanding of contemporary mental health issues relevant to the higher education sector

An understanding of mental health issues relevant to workplaces in the context of workplace health and safety obligations

Strong experience with managing projects and working to deadlines

A clear understanding of organisational Mental Health Strategies, particularly within the higher education sector

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry and Personal Excellence.

Benefits & Remuneration
This part-time, fixed-term position attracts remuneration of $90,220 to $101,090 per annum (pro-rata) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
