Parklea Correctional Centre is a large reception and remand maximum security facility located in Sydney's northwest. It also houses a number of minimum-security inmates. Our vision is to run a safe, decent and secure centre that reduces reoffending and takes care of our staff.

About the Role
The Senior Throughcare Coordinator manages a team of Throughcare Coordinators and an Administrative Support, to ensure effective transition and reintegration of eligible Parklea Correctional Centre (PCC) inmates into the community, and ensuring they receive continuity of appropriate services and support as they go through the gate. This is driven by MTC-Broadspectrum's belief that individuals are less likely to reoffend if they have the right support around them in the key areas of employment, accommodation, education and training, life skills and family/relationships.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience in leading and managing a team within a correctional or similar environment
- Demonstrated previous experience of working with challenging or vulnerable populations at a similar level
- Knowledge and understanding of best practice principles in offender rehabilitation, including the Risk Needs Responsivity model, and positive resettlement and reintegration outcomes for people released from prison
- Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
