Apply your extensive training experience and passion for the sector to deliver training to students throughout the NT.
We are a new world university. Like our namesake, Charles Darwin, we think differently. We innovate, embrace change, challenge conventions and look for better ways. We’re not about tradition or legacy, privilege or exclusivity. We cannot build a new world without diversity of thought, so we bring together people with unique perspectives in an inclusive and supporting learning environment to help them connect, discover and grow. This is the CDU difference.
As a VET Lecturer/Workplace Assessor – Training and Assessment you are responsible for the development and delivery of training whilst working under the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and the VET Quality Framework and to the competency standards of the Training Package. You will deliver training programs through flexible learning environments including, classrooms, workplace environments and external and online delivery.
To be successful you must demonstrate extensive experience providing training within a Registered Training Organisation and have contemporary knowledge of the Vocational Educational and Training industry and associated organisations, including VET Quality Framework and the Australian Skills Quality Authority.
You will have a current qualification equivalent to a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) and a Diploma from the TAE Training Package or a higher level qualification in adult education. Your high level interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to communicate in a culturally sensitive manner with internal and external stakeholders to whom English may not be the first language.
