Belridge Secondary College (SC) is seeking an outstanding Mathematics Teacher to join their dedicated and enthusiastic team.

The Mathematics learning area is committed to teaching excellence, ensuring all students are provided with the best opportunities for future success. The successful applicant will be committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment and be relationship focused with the result of promoting an environment of engagement and collaboration.

To be successful in this role, you should have a willingness to lead curriculum development within the mathematics learning area and develop pedagogy to meet the needs of all students from Years 7 to Years 12. In addition, you will ideally have a strong knowledge of and experience in the Senior School Western Australia Certificate of Education (WACE) courses across the Mathematics field.

In addition, applicants who possess strong interpersonal skills and are easily able to work as part of a team and demonstrate high levels of professional conduct, communication and integrity will be highly regarded. As will those applicants who show initiative and Involvement in the implementation of extracurricular activities to support the learning of students and play an active role in school life.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.

  • Professional practice; and
  • Professional engagement.

Employees will be required to:
