    About the role

    We are seeking a passionate Childcare Educator to work in our Early Learning Centre. This is a max-term position ending 28th January 2022 at 37.5 hours a week.

    Duties

    A Childcare Educator:

    • Assists in implementing and evaluating programs for children;
    • Assists the Coordinator in ensuring adherence to and compliance with relevant law, regulations such as the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Framework and National Regulations and Standards;
    • Provides a safe, nurturing and positive learning environment for children; 
    • Builds strong and effective relationships with children and their families;
    • Ability to act as Responsible Person in Charge.

    Skills & experience

    • Certificate III in Children Services
    • Experience working in Children Services
    • MUST have a level of understanding and demonstrated experience in regards to the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
    • Current Working with Children Clearance, First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis, and Identify and Respond.
    • Ability to build respectful relationships with fellow educators, families, children and other professionals.
