About This Opportunity

As the TBI Predict Project Manager, you will provide specialised project management and research skills to develop and support a multicentre observational clinical study, PREDICT-TBI (PREdiction and Diagnosis using Imaging and Clinical biomarkers trial in Traumatic Brain Injury). Duties include ensuring clinical governance and ethics compliance, developing, monitoring and reporting on the project plan for the study, and drafting protocols and guidelines. You will participate in collaborative multi-disciplinary research activities with internal and external collaborators, particularly with the Jamieson Trauma Institute (JTI) within Metro North Health, as well as other hospitals in Queensland and other states or territories.

This position is located at our picturesque St Lucia campus, renowned as one of Australia’s most attractive university campuses, and located just 7km from Brisbane’s city centre.

This position may involve visits to six Queensland and interstate locations as well as time spent on site at the Jamieson Trauma Institute.

Our Ideal Candidate

Boasting experience in working on clinical projects within an academic, CRO or pharmaceutical environment, you must possess tertiary qualifications preferably in a science or health care discipline or relevant senior experience working in a science or health setting. Prior demonstrated experience managing project budget/s >$1m combined with a strong focus on quality of work is integral to your success in the role. The ability to see the big picture, yet still focus on detail in addition to outstanding communication, interpersonal and organisation skills is essential to the role.

What We Can Offer

This is a full-time, fixed term position for up to two (2 ) years at Professional Level 08.

The full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $100,264.90 - $112,583.95 plus super of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be in the range $117,309.93 - $131,723.21.
