Reporting to the National Safety Manager for Rail, we have a great opportunity for an experienced Training Manager to join the team.

About the role

Role Location: Moorebank, Sydney

The Training Manager's primary objectives are to:

  • Oversee the consistent and effective development and implementation of learning and development policies, procedures and processes as they relate to employees within Qube
  • Comply with the state and national legislation, regulatory, organisational and company requirements.

What your role will look like:

  • Demonstrate and disseminate a positive safety culture throughout all levels of the business and operations
  • Develop and implement competency and enterprise based training, assessment strategies, and plans
  • Monitor and maintain training documentation to ensure ongoing compliance with AQF and Qube Standards
  • Facilitation of periodical development workshops for training and assessment personnel
  • Evaluation of applications of Recognition of Prior Learning
  • Lead, review and act on audit outcomes relevant to training and assessment policies and procedures
  • Deliver training and conduct assessment

What you can bring to the role

The Training Manager must have the skills to ensure that:

  • Training is planned, delivered and measured in order to ensure QLRS compliance to legislative and relevant requirements and standards
  • Intermediate level of knowledge in Microsoft Office programs (Work, Excel and email).
  • Commitment to safety
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE40116), Diploma is desirable
