About RMIT Activator And The Role

RMIT Activator is the cornerstone of RMIT’s enterprise and entrepreneurship ecosystem at RMIT and is designed to help RMIT students, staff, research teams and alumni grow successful start-up ventures, by providing them with real world skills in enterprise creation and give them a distinct advantage with employers.

You will manage the delivery process of multiple related programs within Activator’s product suite with the intention of streamlining processes, optimising resourcing and enabling scale and growth. This role has the overarching aim of continuous improvement of Activator programming, its quality and customer satisfaction.

You will;
  • Based on experience feedback, inform and drive the delivery roadmap for Activator products and services in close consultation with product/ education and commercial/ partnership teams.
  • Coordinate the delivery of Activator projects, programs and products using the appropriate agile project management methodology in order to translate product offerings into relevant and valuable community experiences
  • Manage the successful coordination of the logistics for externally focused programs involving industry partners, including tied grant programs requiring close reporting, acquittal and funder relationship management oversight.

About You

You will have;
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation and analytical skills.
  • An ability to work under pressure, manage multiple programs and projects and achieve deadlines
  • A human-centric approach to achieving objectives and pre-set outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills with the ability to coach and direct work.
