REACH for Training (REACH) is a well-respected and award-winning quality RTO delivering nationally recognised qualifications across Australia.
We are seeking a passionate, hardworking & student focused Training Coordinator who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support our learners throughout their studies. This role will initially be a temporary 6 month contract covering maternity leave with a potential extension or an offer of permanent employment.
Key Responsibilities
This position is responsible for supporting and coordinating REACH’s Student Support Services, Business Development opportunities, Resources and coordination of support for management staff for compliance related activities in various Training Centers across the Western Sydney region. Responsibilities include:
- Manage effective pre-enrolment process for students, employers and other prospective client groups as per REACH policy and procedures
- Take course bookings, inquiries and update of student records into the VETtrack Training Database
- Inform prospective clients about training, assessment and support services to be provided and their rights and responsibilities
- Manage and support student programs (eg. LLN support, Career advice, Mentoring and other special support services)
- Assist students seeking opportunities in regards careers processes to ensure maximum understanding and suitable employment outcomes
- Provide excellent customer service and support to Trainers & Assessors
- Assist the National Operations Manager, Training Manager & the Quality Manager to coordinate course bookings & resources for courses
- Manage and maintain key relationships between REACH, Employers, University Partnerships, government bodies, industry links, Local Community groups and Job Service Providers
- Source and co-ordinate work placement arrangement with trainers, students and employer community groups.
- Assist REACH marketing programs (eg. Try a Trade day, National Skills Week, Career Expos etc.).
- Provide operations support to CEO, Training Manager, Operations Manager and the Quality Manager as required
- Assist other team members when required, including general administration duties
- Ability to travel and work in other campuses
- Assist Training Manager in validating and issuing of Statement of Attainment, Qualification Certificates and re-issue of certificates
- Undertake student support and monitoring services for all REACH training programs

* Must be self-sufficient and able to manage travel
Desirable
- A good understanding of Vocational Education & Training (VET) and the VET sector
- Understanding of the Standards for RTOs 2015
- Experience working for a Registered Training Organisation within the VET sector
Contract length: 6 months
Expected Start Date: 01/03/2021

Salary: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
