Your new role
As Assessment Writer you will be responsible for developing and writing a range of assessment resources. These resources will be adaptable to various modes of delivery and meet quality and compliance standards.

You will:

  • Develop various assessment resources by writing assessment tasks, assessment marking guides and student assessment guides to ensure quality outcomes and compliance
  • Review, refine and adjust written assessment and related materials and resources based on quality assurance and quality control feedback to ensure consistency
  • Ensure teaching and learning resources are contemporary and fit for purpose.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to leverage knowledge and insights to ensure required specifications are met

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have experience developing assessment resources in the vocational or industrial sectors and demonstrated knowledge of educational compliance, standards and regulatory requirements.

You will have an appropriate degree or diploma at Appropriate Degree or Diploma at AQF levels 5-8 or equivalent in addition to a TAE40116/40110 in Training and Assessment including units of competency in Design and development of Assessment tool, and Addressing adult language, literacy and numeracy skills.

You will be comfortable working autonomously and working to deadlines, and have a passion for education.

What you'll get in return
This is a 6 month contract paying a highly competitive rate of 520 - 600 per day + super. You will need to provide and work on your own laptop. The organisation offers flexible working and you will be contributing to the quality education of the workforce of the future.
