About the Role
The purpose of the Education Futures division is to drive academic excellence in a manner consistent with UNE's objectives to be a leader in the design, practice and delivery of distance and online education, and an acknowledged provider of research and scholarship which addresses issues of importance in a regional context. UNE must be identified as an organisation that successfully deploys digital technologies to support educational access and student success. Education Enterprise exists as a business unit to provide both leadership and partnership functions in the design of academic and educational enterprise with faculties and professional areas across all learning, teaching and assessment and, quality enhancement and assurance activities.
About the Role
An exciting opportunity for a Careers Advisor has become available in Education Enterprise where you will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of UNE Employability & Careers activities. The UNE Employability & Careers team provides assistance to students so they may understand their interests, aptitudes and goals in relation to their studies and career paths.
Skills and Experience
This role requires you to have extensive knowledge and/or experience in career education, case management, workshop presentation and use of social media platforms. You will have high level of analytical and problem solving skills and be experienced in working within complex rules and guidelines in relation to career education activities. In addition your ability to work both collaboratively and independently while exercising judgement and initiative will be key to your success in this role.
