Millaa Millaa State School seeks Expressions of Interest for the position of Principal to their dedicated leadership team in term 2, 2021. This is a temporary, full-time position. As the Principal, you will deliver the vision of the department, improve the educational outcomes of students in their schools, develop the quality of teaching and learning and nurture positive relationships between students, teachers, the community and stakeholders.

This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and accordingly any appointment (and extension to this appointment) will not extend beyond 12 months.

About Millaa Millaa State School

We are a small P-6 school located in the evergreen rural community of Millaa Millaa on the southern side of the Atherton Tablelands. Catering for an average of 65 students, the seven grades at our little school are divided into three multi-age classes and we take pride in our ability to develop a sense of 'family' in the fabric of our community relationships. Our school lives by its motto. We continue to strive towards the ideal of being a happy and safe learning environment for our children. We nurture the partnerships that we have established within our rural community and value heritage, family, community spirit, sense of belonging and morals as well as academic success. A mandatory requirement of this role is:
