An excellent opportunity has become available for an Assistant Educator to join the team in a lovely, bright and modern childcare centre located in Townsville.

This role offers a great opportunity to contribute to the educational program of a the Service whilst providing a nurturing, safe and educationally stimulating environment for the children. The position will suit someone with drive who wishes to be a stake holder in the Centre and is keen to assist in promoting the Centre in the local community.

To be considered for this role, you must have an understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, excellent communication skills and have the confidence to communicate to parents and families. This is a permanent position.

Ideal applicants must have:

• Certificate III in Children's Services or equivalent qualifications (as assessed and recognised by ACECQA) or be willing to undertake study towards this qualification.
• First aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis qualifications
• Recent experience working within a childcare centre, ideally with Pre-school children
• A Drivers licence
• A strong, confident and motivated personality with an ambition to provide education standards of excellence
• A drive to be dynamic, forward-thinking and be eager to take on board new concepts and
• think 'outside the box'
• A current Working with children check
