Technical Writer - Vocational Education - 6 month contract - flexible - $650 - 700 per day + super

Your new role
As Technical Writer you will be responsible for developing and writing content for teaching and learning resources. These resources will be adaptable to various modes of delivery, and meet quality and compliance standards.

You will:

  • Develop various written content for a suite of teaching and learning resources to ensure quality outcomes
  • Review and refine teaching and learning materials based on quality assurance and quality control feedback to ensure consistency with product design specifications and statutory/regulatory obligations
  • Ensure teaching and learning resources are contemporary and fit for purpose.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to achieve defined product development objectives

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have experience developing Teaching and learning resources in the vocational or industrial sectors and demonstrated knowledge of educational compliance, standards and regulatory requirements.

You will have an appropriate degree or diploma at Appropriate Degree or Diploma at AQF levels 5-8 or equivalent in addition to a TAE40116/40110 in Training and Assessment including units of competency in Design and development of Assessment tool, and Addressing adult language, literacy and numeracy skills.

You will be comfortable working autonomously and working to deadlines, and have a passion for education.

What you'll get in return
This is a 6 month contract paying a highly competitive rate of 650 - 700 per day + super. You will need to provide and work on your own laptop. The organisation offers flexible working and you will be contributing to the quality education of the workforce of the future.
