About the role
This position will play a lead role in the scoping, design, development, deployment and evaluation of training and educational support activities as they relate to the implementation of a dynamic program that will be in Real Time, for the Citizens or NSW
Duties
- Scope, design and develop end user training and educational activities for Prescribers, Pharmacists, Regulators and other end users of the Real Time Prescription Monitoring solution.
- Define the key learning objectives for end users
- Manage external providers and partners in the development of training and education collateral including eLearning modules, video and other online mediums development and deployment, training delivery schedule and logistics planning.
- Monitor, evaluate and review learning materials, curriculum and effectiveness of the training materials developed
- Assist the Change and Adoption Manager with the development of the online learning strategy and stakeholder engagement
- Support, coach, guide instruct less experienced team members, through classroom training sessions, on-the-job training and/ or coaching and mentoring.
Essential Requirements:
- Extensive experience in adult learning and development in a large and complex/diverse service industry organisation, including relevant qualifications (Certificate IV in Training and Assessment 40116) or equivalent. This includes strong knowledge and practical experience in working within technical training, preferably within a large scale ICT project environment.
- Proven ability to assume a lead role in the scope, design, development, delivery and evaluation of software training from inception through to implementation.
Selection Criteria:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including written, facilitation, presentation and consultation skills.
- Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint). High level exposure in eLearning software (for example; Articulate Storyline, Camtasia Studio, Abode Creative Cloud and/or Video Scribe).
- Demonstrated organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise competing demands and achieve results both individually and for a team.
- Proven ability to collaborate, influence and negotiate with stakeholders (including Subject Matter Experts and/or vendors) to deliver high quality outcomes.
- Capacity and willingness, including current NSW driver's license, to travel to eHealth NSW business and service locations throughout NSW, which may include overnight stay in regional / remote areas.
