A growing, mixed secondary comprehensive in Enfield is seeking a English teacher to join the team starting September2021. The ideal English teacher will be qualified and be a passionate teacher.

This is a very good secondary school located in Enfield and they are seeking a qualified teacher of English to join the English faculty. The school attracts students from students in Enfield and Enfield. This is a mixed secondary school and the Head teacher is actively seeking a teacher who is interested in securing a role they can grow and develop within.

The secondary school aim to develop as confident, responsible, and articulate learners and citizens to reveal and develop their inner strengths, and to thrive at school and beyond

There is a big focus on Literacy at Key stage 3, they offer a range of engaging, relevant and achievable courses, there is a focus on Mental Health and Wellbeing Development especially as well as A focus on the quality of Extended Writing amongst a range of other things.

We are working together to source a teacher who is able to teach Key stage 3, 4, and 5.

The Right English Specialist Will Be

Hold a BA and PGCE in English

Confident with teaching GCSE and A level

Creative, patient, and willing to think outside of the box

The Successful English Teacher Will Have The Following

Exceptional English degree

UK classroom teaching experience

Eligibility to work in the UK

Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years

A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service

Salary paid to scale – teachers’ pay scale MPS or UPS1 dependent on experience
