About This Opportunity

The Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Compliance Assistants are part of the Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences' Placement Management Team. These positions will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks to ensure students meet pre-placement compliance requirements. You will initiate and monitor compliance of all students enrolled in programs with a WIL component in the Health and Behavioural Sciences Faculty. You will also work closely with individual Placement Managers and relevant Academic staff to ensure students meet the pre-clinical compliance requirements for their Discipline.

This position will require occasional flexibility to work non-standard hours.

This position is located at our picturesque St Lucia campus, renowned as one of Australia’s most attractive university campuses, and located just 7km from Brisbane’s city centre. Bounded by the Brisbane River on three sides, and with outstanding public transport connections, our 114-hectare site provides a perfect work environment – you can enjoy the best of both worlds: a vibrant campus with the tradition of an established university.

To be successful for this opportunity, you will bring a strong orientation to high levels of customer service, along with well-developed communication skills. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work with limited supervision and follow established procedures, along with the ability to interpret rules and handle sensitive matters confidentially.

Your high level of organisational skills will enable you to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks, all while maintaining high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite and various enterprise systems (including databases, spreadsheets and email) is essential.

What We Can Offer

This is a casual position at HEW level 4. The position is for up to 38 hours per week.

The casual hourly rate is $43.24 per hour, inclusive of 25% casual loading.
