The Role
Join this leading organisation on an initial 6 month contract. You will need to be an experience Instructional designer that has experience across a range of initiatives. You will preferably be well versed creating storyboards, creating new policies / procedures / Systems, training for legacy systems as well as a strong track record of partnering with L+D teams to drive the best outcome for organisations.
Responsibilities
- Work with subject matter experts and the Training Group to identify target audience's training needs
- Creating Story Boards for Training
- Developing learning materials to educate stakeholders to adopt standardised processes
- Set instructional objectives and create content that matches them
- Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods
- Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer
- Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface, and the finished product
- Analyse and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design
- Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
- Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc)
- Devise modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course
Experience Required
- Minimum of 3-5 Years as an Instructional Designer
- Strong EQ / Commercial Acumen - can be versatile and work across a range of responsibilities
- Strong Track Record working with L+D Teams
- Experience with content development / design / working with organisations going through transformation
