Position Information
Mullion Creek Public School has a current enrolment of 71 students. It is a semi-rural small school 15 km from the city of Orange. A dedicated staff work closely with the community to ensure the highest quality teaching and learning programs are delivered. An active parent body works in partnership with school staff to support quality outcomes for all students.
The school is also part of the CCMCSH Community of Schools and OSSA group allowing collaboration, connection and a wider range of opportunities for students and staff to be offered.
The schools prides itself on being an inclusive school ensuring differentiation is evident in each classroom, so that all students reach their potential. Innovative practices in STEM and robotics have been recognised outside school and the practice shared through case studies.

Selection Criteria
- Approval to teach Infants and Primary K-6 with a demonstrated capacity to implement quality differentiated literacy and numeracy programs to improve student outcomes and enhance student engagement.
- Demonstrated excellence in the implementation of inclusive teaching and learning programs including but not limited to Choir, Music and Dance with high expectations for multi staged, multi aged classes, designed to meet the need of all students in a small school, maintain a wide range of extracurricular activities and promote a positive whole school culture.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to engage with all students, staff (within and across schools), parents and the wider community to build positive and authentic relationships.
- Demonstrated capacity to authentically integrate innovative and emerging technologies to create engaging learning opportunities and positively impact on student outcomes.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
