Ingle Farm Primary School OSHC is seeking to appoint a Qualified Educator for our growing service.

Ingle Farm OSHC is a service of Ingle Farm Primary School Governing Council. Our service is a 60 place service, providing both before school (7am-9am), after school (2.30pm – 6pm), Student Free days and Vacation Care (7am – 6pm). This service is an integral part of the school and the community. Our school community is very diverse with Mainstream, Intensive English Language Centre, Special Education classes, Preschool on site.

We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic person who can communicate effectively to be a team member and leader to support high quality care and to plan and implement valuable learning experiences.

Position offered is Permanent Part time located at Ingle Farm Primary School OSHC. Minimum hours per week 15, with additional hours offered on a weekly basis relative to our operational needs and your availability. Additional hours will also be offered during school holiday periods. This position will also require the successful applicant to be at times in ‘Day to day’ charge of the service, though will report to the Director.

Hours are from 7am to 9am morning sessions, 2.30pm to 6pm for afternoon sessions, and varied hours during Vacation Care periods and on Student Free days.

  • Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment
  • Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
  • Participate in professional and personal development
  • Contribute to programming and documentation of children’s learning

Job requirements:

· Diploma in School Age Education and Care (or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines)

· First Aid training (HLTAID004 or equivalent)

· DCSI (WWCC) Clearance

· Responding to Abuse and Neglect (RAN) training

· Knowledge and understanding of the My Time Our Place and Early Years Learning Framework

· Experience in an Education and Care setting

· Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
