Based in Hobart or Launceston
Provide excellent client services whilst applying your IT knowledge and skills
The University’s Shared Services team is inviting Expressions of Interest for Casual Client Services Officers to assist in first point of contact for University Staff and Students, providing high-level technical IT customer service to meet the requirements of ICT service delivery at the University of Tasmania.
Key Accountabilities:
Provide technical and general advice in the delivery and support of a range of high-quality ICT services.
Configure, install and support technology in accordance with established ITS standards.
Provide localised support though recognised support structures in the areas of learning technology.
Provide support to project and working groups to facilitate the successful completion of projects.
Position Requirements
A tertiary qualification in computing or a related field or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer service.
Experience in technology support for a large, networked environment.
Rate of Pay
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 4/HEO 5 (commensurate with experience) with a rate of $41.31/$45.26 (inclusive of 25% loading)* Weekend penalty rates will apply
