73.50 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE)

Duties

This position supports TasTAFE’s goal of improving student experience through work placement.

The focus of this role is to provide administrative support and services to the Manager Education and Training and the TasTAFE Work Placement Team for student work placements.

The occupant has responsibility for the planning and finalisation of Student Work Placement Agreements and associated documentation, specific to individual work placement arrangements. The occupant will monitor the execution of Student Work Placement Agreements and the flow of information, including correspondence to and from the Work Placement Team, whilst adhering to Agreement timeframes.

Essential Requirements

• Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status - Employment)

The Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013 requires persons undertaking work in a regulated activity to be registered. A regulated activity is a child related service or activity defined in the Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Regulations 2014. This registration must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of this may be checked at any time during employment.
