The opportunity

As an Instructional Systems Designer, you will provide the full spectrum of training support for our current and emerging customer training programs within the Training Services Capability team located in Williamtown, New South Wales.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, facilitating and evaluating technical training materials for project customers.
• Evaluation of training artefacts and activities to satisfy customer requirements.
• Developing and modifying computer-based training (CBT) courseware by incorporating learning objectives, technical data, design requirements, media, logic and navigation using multi-media development tools.
• Full spectrum of course curriculum management including instructor support documentation as well as post course reporting and activities
• Data Analysis activities for compliance and continuous improvement
• Conducting training needs analysis to identify training gaps.
• Effective engagement with customer representatives and subject matter experts.

Experience/Qualifications

• Experience with the development of training in the defence environment
• Understanding of defence curriculums
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
• Experience in course curriculum management
• Interpersonal skills to work in a multi-team environment
• Experience in the design and development of the full spectrum of training (desirable)
• Experience with Data Analysis (desirable)
