We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic OSHC Coordinator to lead our Outside School Hours Care Team, based at our Springfield School. This is a 12-month contract working full time, with a preferred start date of 08 March 2021 (although there may be some flexibility with this date).

About you:
You have formal qualifications in Early Childhood Education (e.g: Diploma of Children’s Services or relevant degree)
You have demonstrated experience in effective management, leadership and team building skills within an OSHC or similar environment
You have working knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law 2010, Regulations 2011 and the National Quality Framework Assessment and Rating System
You have demonstrated knowledge of the National Quality Standard, National Framework and OSHC Curriculum - "My Time Our Place".
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and can work effectively with people from all sectors of the children’s services community, including other service leaders, coordinators, College Leadership, government representatives, families and the wider community.
You demonstrate high levels of personal initiative and accountability and are able to achieve outcomes within set timeframes
You are open-minded and able to adapt to new and changing environments
You have a proven ability to interact positively with children, while showing initiative and flexibility.
You have demonstrated experience planning and developing age appropriate resources and activities
You have demonstrated experience working with a diverse group of children with differing learning preferences and needs
You are able to work collaboratively and develop strong professional relationships with those around you
You value contributing to diverse and inclusive communities and accept the responsibility to uphold the Christian Ethos, including core values of care, dignity & respect
You identify with St Peters’ professional behaviours of trust, accountability, unconditional positive regard and open communication and feedback and apply these in all that you do
