A growing dance studio in Woolloongabba, Brisbane is looking for a Dance Teacher to join its friendly team. We offer great & flexible working environment, well disciplined students and support for our staff.

An ideal candidate will:

1) Be able to take on Contemporary, Jazz & Lyrical, as well as Musical Theater styles of classes for various ages and levels, ability to teach other styles, including being certified Acrobatics teacher is a bonus;

2) Have prior teaching and choreographic experience of at least 2 years;

3) Have a combination of prior dance experience & education (or progress towards) in the dance field;

4) Be willing to be hired as an independent contractor and be available most of the year;

5) Be enthusiastic, passionate, energetic, motivating and inspiring to students and someone who loves working with children;

6) Be very responsible, highly reliable, hard working, honest, resourceful, innovative worker with excellent communication skills and who is a good team player;

7) Have ABN, Bluecard Working With Children Check and current First Aid certificate.

8) Be available on Thursday & Friday afternoons, availability on Monday, Tuesday and Saturday would be a bonus.
