Millmerran P-10 State School are currently seeking a secondary English and Humanities teacher to fill the role of District Relieving Teacher (DRT) for Semester 1 2021, with possible extension. Departmental housing can be arranged for the successful applicant.

Millmerran is a town in the Darling Downs region of Queensland located on the Gore Highway, 208 kilometres west of Brisbane.

The position is temporary full-time and will focus on delivering Junior English and Humanities classes to Year 7-9, as well as backfilling behind the DRT position.

Applicants For These Positions Must Possess

  • Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department.
  • Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. Pre-service/graduate teachers must have been granted provisional registration prior to commencing employment as a teacher.
