Goodstart Early Learning is looking for a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join the team at our, Goodstart Stafford Centre based in North Queensland.

About the Role

Goodstart has a new opening for a passionate Early Childhood Teacher, who can build and sustain strong relationships with children, parents, and the local community. You will work closely with your Assistant, ensuring you plan innovative and engaging child initiated curriculums, incorporating both indoor and outdoor environments, sustainability, and local excursions.

Our centre - Goodstart Stafford

• Stafford is a purpose built child care centre which caters for children aged from six weeks to 5 years of age. We have five operational rooms, where the educators run fantastic educational, play-based programs. We have 17 educators who work our five room centre, and each of them forms a part of our successful working team.

Our centre has been operational for the last 15 years. Our centre boasts lovely shaded playgrounds, plentiful resources, highly trained educators and our security lock on the front door provides families with a extra peace of mind.

Your role/requirements

• Full-time, permanent position - 38 hours/week
• Studying towards or hold Bachelor of Education/Early Childhood or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification deeming you as an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) or ‘actively working towards’
• Hold a current Blue Card or alternatively an Exemption Card with QLD Teachers Registration
• Hold a current First Aid qualification
